A bushel and a peck.

I love my Meme. Very much. These are pictures of her. I love them so much I had to share!

Grandpa Allen

Jesse's grandpa passed away just before Christmas. He was 6'5'' tall, 92 years old, and feisty as ever. When Jesse last spoke to him, Grandpa said that each day with his family was a blessing, but that he was ready whenever the Lord was. We were fortunate enough to be able to fly Jesse down to Arizona for the funeral.

Jesse, his brother, and their cousins.

Jesse, his mom, his brother, and his sister.

Jesse was also able to attend his cousin's wedding while he was in town. This is Jesse and his dad - just in case you couldn't see the resemblance.

"A Red Airplane with a Remote"

All Eli wanted for his birthday was "a red airplane with a remote". What kind of Gram would Melanie be if she didn't deliver (with the help of Aunt Meg and Uncle Jesse)? Everyone came outside to watch the maiden voyage, including Uncle Kev with the video camera. You should watch too.

Snow day!

Jesse and I are both sick, so we arranged substitutes for school today; however, all the time spent on sub plans proved to be a waste. School was cancelled! It started snowing last night and hasn't stopped since. The last time we had a snow day, I was a freshman in high school! It has been almost 24 hours and the snow still hasn't stopped. Is it too much to hope for another one tomorrow? (We are both even sicker after shoveling three driveways!)

Our poor cars!

12 hours equals 12 inches!

Snow!!!

"It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas..."

"Christmas"

Jesse's step-sister, Kirsten, and her husband, Chris, came up from California for Thanksgivng. Since they wouldn't be coming back for up Christmas, we had Christmas early.

Chris, Kirtsen, and "Madi" (Maddigan).

Add a bug and you have Chris is a nutshell.

Jesse and Angela.

Apparently "Thunder Cats" was a big deal back in the day.

That's a big basket.

Poor Madi.

Family.

Thanksgiving

One down. Nine more to go!

This was a random shot, but Michelle's hair looked so pretty I had to post it!

Sampling the punch.

A post dinner visit from the big man himself.
