The thing about Dayton . . .

I love Dayton. It isn't like it was when I was a little girl, but all the change really has been for the good. Eh. Maybe. We do have a grocery store now. Anyway, two things that haven't changed: our SINGLE stoplight and . . . duh . . . duh . . . duh . . . THE WIND. I can remember telling people about it my freshman year of college, and they LAUGHED at me like I was making it up. Well . . . I wasn't then, and I'm definitely not now. We had an absolutely INSANE wind storm the other night which (a) prevented any sleep from taking place, (b) threw something into my windshield and left an AWESOME crack from top to bottom, (3) blew the neighborhood's trashcans, and the respective garbage, EVERYWHERE (we were lucky though, we only got our neighbor's trash in our yard which consisted mainly of dirty diapers, broken beer bottles, and syringes.), and (d) blew down a large portion of our fence. All in all, it made for a VERY INTERESTING morning.
